COVERGIRL Lip Perfection Lipcolor – Review & Swatches

The Cover Girl Lip Perfection lipstick comes in a sleek pewter tube. You can hear a subtle click when you put the cap back on the lipstick tube – a small but very useful quality that assures the lipstick is closed securely.

The color-capped bottom makes it easy to find the right shade – especially if you’ve collected more than one of these lippies.

My girlfriend and fellow makeup lover, Laura (AKA Mrslolalynn on YouTube), described Cover Girl lipstick as “hidden gems” of the drugstore and I couldn’t agree more.

The color options are almost endless with 44 shades conveniently categorized into 4 color groups: pinks to roses, lilacs/mauves/burgundies, nudes/corals/reds, and brown. The Cover Girl Lip Perfection lipstick cost about $7 per tube.

These lipsticks are creamy and pigmented. They go on smooth with a satin finish. They do have a somewhat “makeup-y” scent – I personally don’t mind this but if you’re sensitive at all to fragrance I wouldn’t recommend this lipstick.

Overall, I love the Cover Girl Lip Perfection lipstick and plan on adding more shades to my collection. What are your thoughts on this lipstick?
